Small-Batch. Single-Ingredient. Connecticut-Crafted Maple Goodness.
-
Crafted in small batches in Weston, Connecticut, our maple syrup is tapped right from the sugar maples in our own backyard. Each bottle reflects the unique climate, soil, and seasonal shifts of coastal New England — producing a rich, naturally sweet syrup with deep amber color and a smooth, velvety finish. We hand-collect and boil every batch on our property, ensuring true, hyper-local flavor from tree to table.

Not just for pancakes.
Drizzle our maple syrup over yogurt or oatmeal, brush it onto roasted vegetables, add it to salad dressing, sweeten a cocktail, glaze salmon or chicken, stir it into coffee, or pour it over vanilla ice cream.
Basically, anywhere you’d reach for sugar or honey, try maple syrup instead
Got maple trees? Come join the fun.
If you’re local and have maple trees on your property, we’d love to help you get in on maple season.
Never tapped a tree before? We can help you figure out which trees are ready, what you need, how to collect the sap, and even how to boil it down yourself at home. And if you’d rather skip the long boil, bring your fresh sap to Black Shack and we can add it to ours. We’ll keep track of what you contribute and share some of the finished syrup with you based on how much sap you bring.
No pressure to do it one particular way. We mostly just think tapping season is too fun to keep to ourselves.
